Michael Rose is the Principal Designer for the Michigan Translational Medicine Center (MiKTMC). He combines user-centered design with 30+ years of experience within IT and software development to design and develop simple and intuitive solutions for complex user problems. Prior to joining MiKTMC, he worked in the Healthcare sector designing complex and visually appealing healthcare analytics applications for Truven Health Analytics and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

In this presentation, we will cover creating diversified personas for the Kidney Tissue Atlas as part of the Kidney Precision Medicine Project clinical research study, emphasizing their importance for designing user-centric software application. Further, we delve into how these personas can guide design decisions and foster a shared understand across diverse working groups.
